PNG vs SVG: what changes

You want to enlarge a logo or drawing without pixels, or prepare it for a cutting machine. It is vectorised by tracing shapes with the colours you pick: great for logos and flat illustrations, poor for photos, which come out as colour patches. Check the result before printing.

PNG to SVG: common questions

Does converting PNG to SVG lose quality?

It is vectorised by tracing shapes with the colours you pick: great for logos and flat illustrations, poor for photos, which come out as colour patches. Check the result before printing.

How many files can I convert at once?

Up to 10 images at once. You choose the number of colours and the detail level, and compare before and after.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in current mobile browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox). Large files take a little longer on a phone, and the tab should stay open until the download is ready.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion happens inside your browser: the file is read and processed on your device and is not sent to Cocuyo or to any third party. You can check it in your browser’s network tools: your file is not sent.

Is it really free?

Yes. You can try it before signing up; to download the result we ask for a free account, with no subscription. Your free account comes with 30 welcome uses; after that, each use costs 1 credit (top-ups from US$1), and they are unlimited with Basic or Pro. It never adds a watermark.
