Where is my data stored?
Only in this browser, as a local draft, so you do not lose your work; the photo is not saved. You can remove it with “Delete draft”. Nothing is sent to Cocuyo.
What should I include?
What the job needs: contact details, experience, education, skills and languages. There is no need for your date of birth, age, marital status, ID number or full address; the photo is optional and many countries recommend leaving it out.
Can applicant tracking systems read it?
The PDF contains real, selectable text with clear headings. For very strict systems, use the one-column Classic or Compact template, or the Word file.
What is the difference between the PDF and the Word file?
The PDF uses the chosen template. The Word file comes in one column with Word styles (headings and bullets) so you can keep editing it.
Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. Files are read and converted in your browser. Cocuyo serves local engines; document content is never sent to a server. You can check it in your browser’s network tools: your file is not sent.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can try it before signing up; to download the result we ask for a free account, with no subscription. Your free account comes with 30 welcome uses; after that, each use costs 1 credit (top-ups from US$1), and they are unlimited with Basic or Pro. It never adds a watermark.
