Use repeated names and winner removal deliberately
Enter 2 to 100 options, one per line. Each line has the same chance, so repeating a name adds weight. Spin, then remove the winner if you want the next draw to exclude that entry, or shuffle the list. Saving the list is optional and local to this browser; reduced-motion settings suppress the animation.
Spin the wheel: common questions
Is it really random?
Yes. The winner is picked with crypto.getRandomValues, the browser’s cryptographic generator, using an unbiased method. The animation only shows that result.
Can I give an option more weight?
Yes: type it more than once. Each line gets an equal slice, so an option typed three times has three times the chance.
Is my list saved?
Only if you tick “Save the list in this browser”. It stays on this device, is not sent to any server and is deleted when you untick the box.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. The numbers, dates and names you type are calculated in your browser and are not sent to Cocuyo or to any third party.
Do I need an account or credits?
You can use the tool the first time without an account. From the second use, a free account is required. The tool uses no credits or welcome uses and has no usage limit.
