Can it convert a PDF to an image or to PNG?
Yes. Each PDF page becomes a JPG or PNG image, whichever you choose, and you download them one by one or in a ZIP.
Which resolution should I choose?
72 dpi to view on screen with a small file, 150 dpi for most uses and 300 dpi for printing. Each page is at most 40 megapixels.
JPG or PNG?
JPG is smaller and suits photos and scans. PNG keeps fine text and drawings sharper, but is larger.
Can I get the pages as WebP?
Yes, if your browser can create WebP: it appears as a third format option and is smaller than PNG. If it cannot, we tell you and you choose JPG or PNG.
How many pages can I convert?
Up to 300 pages at a time. If your PDF has more, convert it in parts by typing ranges such as 1-150 and 151-300.
Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The tool runs inside your browser: documents are read and processed on your device and are not sent to Cocuyo or to any third party. The PDF libraries are served from our own site, with no external services. You can check it in your browser’s network tools: your file is not sent.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can try it before signing up; to download the result we ask for a free account, with no subscription. Your free account comes with 30 welcome uses; after that, each use costs 1 credit (top-ups from US$1), and they are unlimited with Basic or Pro. It never adds a watermark.
What are the limits?
PDFs without a password, up to 100 MB per file. Pages are processed bit by bit so the tab stays responsive; on a phone, a very large PDF may take a few seconds longer.
