JPG, PNG, WebP, ICO, BMP or TIFF; AVIF when available. Adjust quality, maximum size or ICO sizes depending on the format.

Image converter: common questions
Which formats can I convert?
JPG (including JFIF), PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF (the first frame), BMP, TIFF, SVG and ICO, plus HEIC/HEIF in compatible browsers. Output can be JPG, PNG, WebP, ICO, BMP or TIFF; WebP and AVIF are offered only if the browser really creates those formats.
What happens to the old HEIC and ICO links?
They open this same converter with JPG or ICO already chosen. You can change the output in the selector without opening another tool.
Is transparency kept?
PNG, WebP, ICO and TIFF support transparency. JPG and BMP do not: choose the background colour for transparent areas. JPG, WebP and AVIF let you adjust quality; PNG, ICO, BMP and TIFF do not have that setting.
What are the ICO options?
Include 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 128 and 256 px sizes, fitting the whole image or cropping it to the centre. The complete icon set and HTML code remain available in Favicon generator.
What are the converter limits?
Up to 10 images per batch. JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF: 30 MB and 40 megapixels per file. HEIC/HEIF: 60 MB and 50 megapixels. Maximum side length is 10,000 px. Each result can be up to 60 MB and the ZIP up to 200 MiB.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The tool runs inside your browser: files are read and processed on your device and are not sent to Cocuyo or to any third party. You can check it in your browser’s network tools: your file is not sent.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can try it before signing up; to download the result we ask for a free account, with no subscription. Your free account comes with 30 welcome uses; after that, each use costs 1 credit (top-ups from US$1), and they are unlimited with Basic or Pro. It never adds a watermark.
