HOW TO USE IT
Three steps.
Start the stopwatch
Press “Start” or the space bar. Press again to stop it and once more to continue.
Mark laps
Press “Lap” or the L key. Each lap shows its time and the total; the fastest and slowest are marked.
Keep your times
Press “Download CSV” to open the laps in a spreadsheet, or “Reset” (R key) while stopped to start from zero.

Stopwatch: common questions
How precise is it?
The display shows hundredths of a second and time is calculated from the system clock, not by counting ticks, so it does not fall behind in the background. Even so, your reaction time when pressing is usually longer than a hundredth.
Does it keep counting if I switch tabs?
Yes: when you come back you see the correct time. If you close or reload the page, the stopwatch and its laps are lost, so download them first.
What is the difference between lap and total?
The lap is the time since the previous lap and the total is the time since you started. It is useful for race splits or for timing the steps of a task.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. The numbers, dates and names you type are calculated in your browser and are not sent to Cocuyo or to any third party.
Do I need an account or credits?
You can use the tool the first time without an account. From the second use, a free account is required. The tool uses no credits or welcome uses and has no usage limit.
