Falling blocks: the classic puzzle game
Seven four-block pieces fall down a 10 × 20 well. Rotate and place them to complete rows: every full row disappears and scores points. Play with gestures or big buttons on a phone, and with the keyboard on a computer.
HOW TO PLAY
Three steps.
Move and rotate the piece
Swipe sideways or use the arrows to move it, and tap the well or press ↑ to rotate it. The outline below shows where it will land.
Clear rows
Every full row is cleared. One, two, three or four at once are worth 100, 300, 500 or 800 points times the level, and clearing with pieces in a row adds a combo.
Keep up with the speed
Every 10 lines the level goes up and pieces fall faster. Hold a piece for later and hard drop it when it fits. The game ends when the blocks reach the top.

How do I play on a phone?
Tap the well to rotate, swipe sideways to move, drag down to drop faster and flick down to hard drop the piece. There are also big buttons below the board.
Which keys does it use on a computer?
Arrows to move and drop, ↑ or X to rotate, Z to rotate back, Space to hard drop, C or Shift to hold the piece and P to pause.
When do I win?
The game has no ending: you last as long as you can. If you finish with 40 lines or more, the game counts as a win in your stats.
Is my best score saved?
Yes, on this device, along with an unfinished game: if you close the page, you can carry on when you come back. No account needed and nothing is sent to any server.
