The classic board with seven columns and six rows: drop a disc, it falls to the lowest free space, and whoever lines up four wins. Play the computer or someone next to you on the same screen.
HOW TO PLAY
Three steps.
Choose a mode
Easy, Normal or Hard against the computer, or 2 players on the same device. Games alternate who starts.
Drop a disc
Tap a column, or press 1 to 7 on your keyboard. The disc falls to the lowest free space in that column.
Line up four
Whoever gets four discs in a row wins: across, down or diagonally. If the board fills up with no four in a row, it is a draw.
Four in a row: common questions
Can I beat the computer on Hard?
Yes, but it takes work: on Hard the computer looks several moves ahead and never misses a threat. On Easy and Normal it slips more often.
Who goes first?
It alternates: if you started one game, the computer (or the other player) starts the next.
Is the score saved?
Yes, on this device and separately for each mode. You can reset it at any time with the Reset score button.
Do I need to download anything or create an account?
No. It is free to play in the browser, with no ads and no sign-up, on your phone or computer.
