Classic Solitaire online for free

The Solitaire you know, with seven columns, the deck and four foundations. Tap a card and it moves to its best spot, or drag it wherever you want. Choose to draw one card or three at a time, and ask for a hint if you get stuck.

HOW TO PLAY

Three steps.

  1. Build down the columns

    Place each card on one that is one rank higher and the opposite colour: a red 7 on a black 8. Only a king can go into an empty column.

  2. Draw from the deck

    Tap the deck to draw cards when you run out of moves. When it is empty, it starts again with the waste pile.

  3. Build the suits on the foundations

    Each foundation starts with an ace and builds up by suit to the king. You win when all 52 cards are on the foundations.

Solitaire: common questions

What is the difference between draw 1 and draw 3?

With draw 1 you take cards from the deck one at a time and most games can be won. With draw 3 you take three and can only play the top one: it is the classic, harder mode. Each mode keeps its own best time.

Can I undo a move or get help?

Yes. Undo takes you back as many times as you like, and Hint shows you a possible move (or tells you to draw). When every card is face up, they go up to the foundations by themselves.

Do I need to download anything or create an account?

No. It is free to play in the browser, with no ads and no sign-up. Your unfinished game, best times and stats are saved only on this device.
