HOW TO PLAY
Three steps.
Reveal a cell
Tap any cell to start. If it has no mines around it, a whole area opens up.
Read the numbers
Each number tells you how many mines touch that cell, diagonals included.
Flag the mines
Long-press, right-click or use Flag mode. Tapping a number with all its flags placed opens its neighbours.
Minesweeper: common questions
How big is each level?
Easy: 9×9 with 10 mines. Medium: 16×16 with 40. Hard: 16 columns by 30 rows with 99 mines, portrait so it fits on a phone.
What is the daily challenge?
A medium board that is the same for everyone that day. The glowing cell is a safe start, and the challenge keeps its own best time.
Can I lose on the first tap?
No. In regular games mines are placed after your first tap, never on that cell or next to it.
Where is my best time saved?
On this device, one per level plus one for the daily challenge. No account needed and nothing is sent to any server.
