Days between dates: common questions
Are public holidays excluded?
No. Working days run Monday to Friday (or to Saturday) without holidays, because each country and region has its own. Subtract them yourself if needed.
Are the first and last days counted?
Counting starts on the start date and the end date is left out, as when counting the days that pass from one date to another. Tick “Include the end date” to add it.
What happens when adding a month to 31 January?
If the day does not exist in the target month, its last day is used: 31 January plus one month is 28 February, or 29 February in leap years.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. The numbers, dates and names you type are calculated in your browser and are not sent to Cocuyo or to any third party.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can try it before signing up; to keep using it, we ask for a free account, with no subscription. It uses no credits and does not count toward your 30 welcome uses: it has no usage cap.
