Which size should I use for my store?
The 2000 × 2000 px square on white is accepted by most online stores and allows zoom. If your store shows portrait photos, use 4:5 or 3:4. Always check your platform’s photo guide.
Do all the photos match?
Yes: each product is centred with the same margin inside the same size, so the catalogue looks tidy even if the original photos differ.
How long does a batch of 50 take?
Each photo is processed in turn on your device, in a few seconds. A batch of 50 may take a few minutes; you can cancel and resume the pending ones.
What removes the background?
U²-Net in its small version (u2netp, Apache 2.0 licence) and onnxruntime-web (MIT licence), served from our own site. The first time about 19 MB are downloaded and your browser keeps them; after that it starts straight away, even offline while the page stays open.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The tool runs inside your browser: files are read and processed on your device and are not sent to Cocuyo or to any third party. You can check it in your browser’s network tools: your file is not sent.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can try it before signing up; to download the result we ask for a free account, with no subscription. Your free account comes with 30 welcome uses; after that, each use costs 1 credit (top-ups from US$1), and they are unlimited with Basic or Pro. It never adds a watermark.
What are the limits?
JPG, PNG or WebP up to 30 MB and 40 megapixels per file, not animated. Files are processed one at a time so the tab stays responsive, even on a phone.
