Set the data policy
For JSON→CSV, nested values become compact JSON in one cell or are rejected. Formula cells are blocked by default; neutralizing with a tab is an explicit choice that changes the data.
Review and download
The result reports row and column counts. CSV→JSON keeps every cell as a string; copy or download CSV/JSON.

JSON to CSV and CSV to JSON: common questions
Does a round trip preserve all types?
No. CSV→JSON never converts numbers, dates, nulls or nested values: everything is a string. Missing JSON fields become empty; absence and an empty string are not distinguished afterward.
How are formulas handled?
Potentially executable text and headers are blocked. Optional neutralization adds a tab inside a quoted cell; no strategy is universal across spreadsheet programs. Do not enable active content when opening the file.
What are the limits?
50 data rows, 100 columns, 1 MiB and 10,000 characters per cell. CSV headers must be unique and non-empty, with the same width in every row. JSON with duplicate keys is rejected.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser as you type; the text is not sent to Cocuyo or any third party and is not stored. You can check it in your browser’s network tools: your file is not sent.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can try it before signing up; to keep using it, we ask for a free account, with no subscription. It uses no credits and does not count toward your 30 welcome uses: it has no usage cap.
